European Paleolithic Flint Tool
An ancient European Paleolithic flint axe or tool with raised mid-rib and two scraping edges, circa 300,000 - 250,000 BC. This piece is comprised of dark brown flint with a surface that has patinated to grey. 3 and 1/2 inches long (9cm). Ex: Trocadero/VCoins dealer; Ex: New York gallery. Formerly in collection of V.
